Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Puluso collects, why, and the choices you have. It covers two kinds of people: users of the product, and creators whose public content informs our aggregate trend intelligence.

1. Information you give us

• Account: your email address and a password for your Puluso account itself, stored only as a salted hash. We never ask for — and can't see — your Instagram password.
• Profile: optional details like a display name or your content niche.
• Your work: ideas, briefs, and notes you save in the product.
• Messages: anything you send us directly, like support email.

2. Information collected automatically

We keep minimal operational logs (IP address, browser user agent, request timing) for security, debugging, and rate limiting. We use an essential session cookie to keep you signed in, and your theme preference is stored in your browser's local storage. We don't use advertising trackers or sell data to ad networks.

3. Public content we analyze

Puluso's trend intelligence is built by sampling publicly available short-form video metadata — engagement counts, captions, audio information, posting times, and transcripts of public videos — collected through third-party data providers.

How we handle it:

• Aggregates only. Public data powers per-niche statistics, benchmarks, and derived features. The product shows trends, not people.
• No republishing. We don't build searchable profiles of creators, expose per-account analytics about others, or resell raw data.
• No mixing. Public data is never joined with user account records.
• Short retention for raw data. Raw collected payloads are kept only long enough to derive features, then deleted. Aggregated, de-identified statistics are retained.

If you're a creator and want your public content excluded from our analysis, email us from an address that lets us verify the account (or DM us from the account). We'll exclude the account from future collection and remove it from any stored exemplars.

4. How we use your information

• to provide and secure the service, including quotas and rate limits;
• to generate recommendations from your saved niche and inputs;
• to respond to you and send account or service notices — no marketing spam.

5. Who we share it with

We never sell personal data. We share it only with the service providers needed to run Puluso — hosting, storage, email delivery, and AI model providers that process content to generate recommendations — each bound to process it only on our instructions. We'll disclose information if the law genuinely requires it. A current list of providers is available on request.

6. Retention and deletion

Your data is kept while your account exists. Deleting your account (in Settings) removes your profile and saved work immediately; residual copies age out of encrypted backups within 30 days. Operational logs are kept for a short rolling window.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data — from Settings where possible, or by emailing us. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or India's DPDP Act), these rights are backed by law; we honor them for everyone regardless.

8. Connecting your Instagram account

Puluso doesn't currently connect to your social accounts. If we add opt-in personal analytics later, it will work only through official platform APIs with your explicit consent, and we'll update this policy first.

9. Children

Puluso isn't intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes and contact
